Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau picked a wrong time - Atty. Rivera
In a Facebook post, Atty. Bruce Rivera, rendered attacks towards Canadian Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau for releasing statements about the human rights condition of the Philippines, during the recent ASEAN summit.
He continues by mentioning that Trudeau is very skilled when it comes to public manipulation, being able to properly use public relations by gate crashing a wedding, photobombing a pictorial, and visiting a Jollibee branch in the Philippines.
However, also according to Rivera, Trudeau does not even need to do these things in order to be noticed, but he does it anyway also in order to get more attention.
Rivera implied in his post that the reason Trudeau has to say negative things about the Philippines is because he saw that President Rodgiro Duterte is also a “rockstar”, and Trudeau needed to do something in order to attract attention even more.
“Many would laud his audacity or balls to say it. Kasi it was his only opportunity and he was just frustrated of the HR situation in the PH. So palakpak kayo dahil ang galing ni Trudeau. You applaud his courage. But I say it again and again, it was not the right time and place to make that scene,” Rivera said in the post.
He concluded by reiterating that Trudeau was wrong and he should have chosen a better time.

"In the battle of famewhores, Trudeau is up there. And I cannot blame him. He used good looks, PR savvy team and his penchance for self-deprecation to play with his crowd. At madami ang nabola. He gatecrashed a wedding, photobombed a pictorial, bought Jollibee in the Philippines just to get noticed. And he does not really need to do those antics to get notice. Dumighay lang siya, BBC will interview him pronto.
But he does it anyway. He wants more attention. He wants to steal the show. He wants to be papogi all the time. So I expected he would say that to PRD. Because he came to the Philippines and saw that PRD was more rock star than him. And like the usual famewhore, dapat may paandar siya. So he confronted PRD with such statement with such self-entitlement, he could not wait for the ASEAN to finish. He had to make a scene.
Many would laud his audacity or balls to say it. Kasi it was his only opportunity and he was just frustrated of the HR situation in the PH. So palakpak kayo dahil ang galing ni Trudeau. You applaud his courage. But I say it again and again, it was not the right time and place to make that scene.
Kung wala kayong double standard, how dare you not take Trudeau’s side in this. But for me, I think he was wrong. Pasensya sa hindi na gets ang nuances. I cater sometimes to critical thinking."
