Fellow Duterte supporter blasts Sass for “Legitimizing” BBC
A known Duterte supporter and Fil-am blogger, Edwin Jamora criticized Sass Rogando Sasot for her actions towards a BBC Reporter, by accusing Sasot of setting back the pro-Duterte bloggers.
Through a long Facebook post, Edwin Jamora express his dismay over Sasot.
Sass Rogando Sasot, also a known avid pro-Duterte blogger, confronted Jonathan Head, a BBC Reporter, and asked the said reporter in the ASEAN summit on why an anti-Duterte blogger who according to Sass, to be a “minor” blogger”, was interviewed yet she or other Duterte supporters were not given a chance.

Jamora pointed out that there was no need for Sass to use BBC as a platform since she already had a strong fan base and multiple platforms at her disposal.
He then noted that since Jonathan Head was not part of the team that interviewed Jover Laurio therefore there was no point of Sass asking those questions.
Jamora also accused Sass actions to have harmed the pro-Duterte bloggers by implying that her actions made it easy for international media and other people who attended the ASEAN summit to see Duterte bloggers as like her, and in consequence they will “slant” their views of other bloggers as well.
“In truth Sass Important Sassot, you were very rude, your sense of entitlement was sickening, your bitchiness, your bullying – everything was just wrong," Jamora said.
"If your cult followers think you won the battle against Jonathan Head (because he was nice at hindi nakilaban), well think again. We just lost the battle. The last I heard, after you attacked BBC, there were foreign press who left the International Media Center and Reuters were the first to leave,” he added.

He also added that through asking the BBC reporter for air time, he legitimized the said news agency and according to Jamora this is harmful to the pro-duterte supporters because it diluted “narrative” of “the minor[pro-duterte] bloggers versus the giant media of the oligarchs”.
The article ended with Jamora implying that as graduates of schools overseas, he and Sasot, need to be more responsible in their actions.

"“Hey, BBC! Screw you for featuring that minor blogger who called me an international prostitute! Do you not understand BBC that she’s way beneath me?! Why the fuck did you interview her instead of me? Why! Answer me! ANSWER MEEE! You see, I am an important person! You know how important I am?! I have more than 500 thousand followers! Does that mean anything to you?! I have more readers than Rappler! I have more readers than Reyna Elena! So I deserve to be featured and interviewed by you. Yes! By YOU! And don't you dare ask me to contact you first! You should contact me first because I am important person. Was I not clear how important I am?!”
That’s me, para-phrasing Sass Important Sassot. In 7 minutes, she mentioned Jover Laurio 23 times. TWENTY THREE TIMES! Is Sass a lesbian?! My ghad! I hate drugs!
And then she went on to discredit BBC. My eyelashes went sideways when she had the gall to ask: “Why was I not given a fair chance as PAB/Jover when I have more social media engagement and followers?!”
Juice colored!
So here are my questions to you Sass Important Sasot.
1.) Why was there a need to be legitimized by BBC after discrediting them? This is like asking ABS-CBN to give you a Nobel Pissed Prize when we know ABS-CBN as the purveyor of fake news!
2.) Why beg from BBC to feature your side? Is there a law that can force BBC Executives to feature you? Honey, I worked for many years in the broadcast industry. If we don’t like you. We don’t like you. Which part of that English did you not understand?!
Jonathan Head
3.) Why consider BBC your platform when you’ve cited the damn outfit as bias?! Are you nuts?! You do not use them as your platform because from your assessment they are already biased! Por juice por santu! Lintian! Kaniguan na!
4.) Why do you need BBC when you have more media platform? You have TP, you have Mocha, you have all of the local mainstream media focused on your every move! You have more media coverage than and more media platform than PAB would ever have because she’s a “very minor blogger” as you say!
Jover Laurio of Pinoy Ako Blog
5.) You know too damn well that Jonathan Head was not the team that worked with Jover Laurio but still, you have slain him as if he was the one responsible!
6.) You said you needed BBC to contact you for an interview on your side – what side?! Even an accused in a criminal case cannot ask for a fair comment on a media outfit, what gives you the right to ask?
7.) You gave BBC your schedule for BBC to call you. Wait… Wutt?! Why? What are they going to ask you? What side of your arguments were not aired in your soc med platform when you have about 500,000 followers and more engagement than Jover would ever have in her lifetime!
Jover Laurio
In truth Sass Important Sassot, you were very rude, your sense of entitlement was sickening, your bitchiness, your bullying – everything was just wrong. If your cult followers think you won the battle against Jonathan Head (because he was nice at hindi nakilaban), well think again. We just lost the battle. The last I heard, after you attacked BBC, there were foreign press who left the International Media Center and Reuters were the first to leave. Now, they're thinking that ALL DDS bloggers are like you. Zabrayninanya!
I understand that Mocha explained your side. Has Mocha forgotten she is PCOO? Is that the PCOO’s official stand? Are you people telling me that Malacañang condones heckling of invited international media?
I am proud as a DDS blogger and I will always defend the President and the Republic of the Philippines. But there are DDS bloggers who prefer to defend President Duterte on a higher moral ground and not use the 16-million strong power for personal agendas!
As I said, there are just things that we’ll have to accept the way they are. One of them is the media. Media outfits will always report what is interesting even to the point of twisting facts. Have we not learned that from ABS-CBN, Rappler, GMA News, Inquirer, TV5 and all others in the local mainstream media? You said you were not born yesterday, di ba? Did you miss this part?!
Our narrative – OUR meaning, us DDS blogers – is that WE are the minor bloggers versus the giant media of the oligarchs! Have we forgotten that? BBC is not dumb to not know that President Duterte has an army of defenders and minor bloggers that protect the President. And now, i-ismol-ismolin mo si Jover Laurio? In essence, what you have done was endear Jover Laurio sa mga Pinoys who love the underdogs. That’s what you did.
For you to be confrontational with Jonathan Head means you have the upperhand – you became the bully. The problem is that – they are the international media. They cover OUR story. Irrelevant if they slant our story, they are OUR visitors. They are the PRESIDENT’S VISITORS, so to speak. Tapos, babastusin mo lang? What if they change their reporting because na-endear sa treatment natin? With what you have done, what are the chances that it'll now be sharply at 45 degrees slanted?!
Alam mo Sass Important Sassot ang nakakainis? Dahil DDS ka, bawal salungatin. Lahat nang cult followers mo babantaan ako. If everybody think alike, wala nang mag-iisip.
Parehas lang tayong graduate sa abroad. Gamitin ang pinag-aralan sa abroad.
Humingi ka nang tawad sa Reyna!
Luhod!
Tse!"
