Jimmy Bondoc to privatization of PAGCOR: What will generate funds for nation-building
Singer and appointed Vice President for the Entertainment of the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) James Patrick “Jimmy” Romero Bondoc sarcastically remarked and defended the 50-million investment of money from PAGCOR to the National Anti-poverty Commission.
Jimmy Bondoc, through a Facebook post, initially playfully said how he disliked the investment form PAGCOR and blamed in against Duterte. He ironically remarked how the money will help indigenous people’s schools in Mindanao to be more sustainable.
He then defended why it is important to not privatize PAGCOR because it allows the government to generate income which according to Bondoc, will fund the nation-building investments similar to the state sponsored investment above.
Here is the full text of the said post:
“WALA TALAGANG KWENTA SI pDUTERTE! INUTUSAN KAMI NA MAGBIGAY NG 50 MILLION PESOS SA NATIONAL ANTI-POVERTY COMMISSION, na approved agad ni CHAIRMAN ANDREA DOMINGO!
DAHIL DITO, LALONG MAGKAKA PONDO SI SEC. LIZA MAZA PARA SA EDUCATION NG MGA LUMAD!!! HUWAT??!
MERON SILANG SELF-SUSTAINING PROJECT: PAARALANG PANG-AGRICULTURE, PARA LANG TALAGA SA FARMERS SA MINDANAO. BECAUSE EVEN THE UN SAYS THAT SMALL-SCALE FARMING WILL SAVE THE DAY.
ANUBAYAN!!! NASAAN ANG HUSTISYA??
Think for yourselves. I will not coerce you into my way of thinking.
Love you, President Duterte! Love na love na love! Feed the poor!”
