Roque “brought dishonor to Duterte”, has to quit says Kabayan partylist Rep.

Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque is being asked to leave his post after bringing dishonor to President Rodrigo Duterte. This is what Kabayan partylist Rep. Ron Salo claims after realizing that Roque lied when he publicized what turns out to be a faked letter from the employees union of the Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB), a letter complaining about the excursions of former chairman Dionisio Santiago.

“Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque now has done what President Rodrigo Duterte warned him not to do. He has not told the truth,” he said.

Salo claims that the letter is clearly a fabrication.

 “Just weeks in office, Roque has now brought dishonor to President Duterte and the position he now holds. He also dishonors the law profession.” Salo added.

Roque and Salo are currently entangled in a dispute within Kabayan, both claim leadership in their respective factions that their dispute created.

“If he has any honor left, Mr. Roque should immediately resign and fade into the sunset rather than drag president Duterte in his shameless lie,” Salo said.
