Isabelle’s photoshoot was done for free - Veteran photographer

Lito Sy, the photographer of Isabelle Duterte’s controversial photo shoot spoke up about the issues that have surround it.

In a Facebook post using his own account, Sy said that he felt that he had to speak up in defense of Isabelle because of the numerous negative write ups that have been published against the debutant.

Isabelle Duterte, the granddaughter of president Rodrigo Duterte from his son Davao Vice Mayor Paolo Duterte, recently had a pre-debut photo shoot in the Malacañang Palace. The issue of which was taken negatively by many netizens, stating that the president once said that he is poor, however the photo shoot conducted seemed to have cost a lot of money.

Sy said that Isabelle did not deserve the bashing that she received because she was a kind and down to earth kind of person, which is why he decided to clear up the issue.

According to him, he did not charge 250,000 pesos for the pre-debut photo shoot as what other people claimed it to be. In fact, he said that he did it for free because he is very good friends with Isabelle’s mother, Lovelie Sumera.

Sy also added that the controversial red gown used by Isabelle in the photo shoot was sent via LBC from Dubai, which was sponsored by the Davao-based Davaoeño designer who was also a friend of Sumera.

He also clarified that the rest of the gowns that Isabelle used was also borrowed and provided by the stylist Jeff Galang. It was also stated that although it was true that Galang arranged the debutant’s photo shoot, he was only paid 25, 000 pesos along with make-up artist Winn Ramos, all of which was paid for by Sumera who could afford it because she was a business woman.

Sy’s last call was that he hopes that people will find out all of the information first before they judge.

Nabasa ko lang sa fb page ng isang influencer about the negative write up of Isabelle Duterte’s pre debut shoot in Malacañang. Nakakaawa naman ang dalaga sa mga paninirang di totoo. Ang bait and very down to earth ang dalaga. I felt sorry sa mga taong sumusulat ng di nila alam ang real story kundi hakahaka lang lahat masira lang reputation ng mga Dutertes. Ito po ang totoo:

Ang red gown na ginamit was sent through LBC from Dubai na sponsored din ng Dubai based davao designer na good friend din ng Mom ni Isabelle noong di pa siya sikat. The other gowns were provided po ni Jeff Galang na stylist kung saan hinihiram din nya from famous designers in exchange for credits and milage lang. Ang nga mamahaling shoes are pinagamit sa kanya ng ibat ibang brands para makilala kasi nga artista na si Isabelle under Viva. Ang bayad lang po sa predebut shoot was Jeff Galang at 25k and the nake up artist na si Winn Ramos. Di po si Paolo Duterte ang nagbayad sa suppliers kasi may kaya naman po si Mommy ni Isabelle na isang business woman. So please sana sa mga gustong manira sa mga Dutertes sana alamin nyo muna ang totoong kwento bago kayo manghusga. Pls share na lang po.”
