Paolo Duterte strikes back at journalist: “wala ka na bang maisulat?”

Davao City Vice Mayor Paolo 'Pulong' Duterte, called out The Manila Times journalist Rachel A.G. Reyes on stories she wrote about the presidential son on his drug smuggling case.

In a Facebook post using his official page, Vice Mayor Pulong Duterte-Official, Duterte clapped back at Reyes by asking if she had no more stories to write, which was why she wrote about “unverified” and “gossip" stories, said Duterte.

Reyes’ write-up regarding Paolo Duterte’s P6.4 billion shabu smuggling case was uploaded in the online version of The Manila Times earlier this week.

Duterte questioned these stories, challenging the journalist to answer as to if her stories are true, why hasn’t he been filed a case against. Duterte claims that these assertions coming from Reyes are mere gossip considering that even those who accuse the presidential son are nowhere to be found.

Duterte also accused Reyes of being on drugs. He wrote in his post how he was told that Reyes had a ghost writer bc there are times when she cannot write her stories herself because she was high on cocaine. This strong accusation from Duterte was a response towards Reyes’ story on Duterte spreading heresay.

He also made an accusation that not only Reyes was on drugs but also her father and someone she had a relationship with.

"Madam Rachel A.G. Reyes, galawan ka eh. Galawang wala nang maisulat? Kung sad na ang utak, maghahanap na ng tsismis.

Una, kung totoo ang mga paratang sa akin, bakit walang kasong naisampa sa akin? At kung totoo at may paninindigan ang mga nambintang sa akin, asan sila ngayon? Baka alam mo — kasi kayo-kayo.

Ito lang ang masasabi ko. Alam mo naman siguro kung ano ang “hearsay” nde po ba? “Hearsay” marahil ito na may nakapagsabi sa akin na may ghost writer ka raw. Kasi, minsan wala na, di ka na nakakapagsulat ng maayos dahil sa minsan ay nalulong ka sa cocaine.

Ito pa isa, sabi pa raw ay ang tatay mo ay minsan ring naging adik sa shabu. At pangalawa, ikaw raw ay nagka-lovelife ng isa ring adik?! Wow ha!"
