International trade expert calls out major media outlets for being biased against Duterte admin

In a lengthy Facebook post, International trade expert and avid Duterte Supporter, MJ Quiambao Reyes, tagged media outlets Time Magazine, Reuter, The New York Times, and South China Morning Post to urge them to not be part of the “black propaganda” and adhere to “factual and responsible journalism.”

Reyes listed a series of tips and advice to the news agencies in order to avoid disinformation.

She requested that they do not simply rely on wrong information being feb by group with an ulterior motive against the new administration, as well as to not feed the said information to their readers as well.

The post also mentioned numerous calls to look at both sides of the issues, including those who support and trust the president, and not just those who want to “get back to power”.

She implied that these acts of not trusting her, along with other Duterte supporters is killing off the hope that they have to rebuild the nation.

She added that all the media outlets can freely approach her in order to get “reliable information”.

"To: Time Magazine Reuters The New York Times South China Morning Post

Ms. Taylor's ill-informed opinion (below) of our leader and of our people is the result of the disinformation campaign against our new goverment.

We still want to believe that your respective news agencies are not in any way part of the black propaganda--and that you will adhere to factual and responsible journalism.

1. Please do not just rely on the wrong information being fed to you by people or groups whose agenda is to overthrow our new government and get themselves back to power.

2. Please do not feed your readers with the same distorted information fed to you.

Please stop from condemning, mocking, and portraying our President Rodrigo Duterte as a heartless mass murderer as doing so will make you look more ignorant and biased.

The war he waged is not against humanity. It is a war against illegal drugs and criminality to consequently protect humanity.

Please do an extensive research before you release another damaging write-up against our leader you so love to demonize.

KNOW THE MAN. TALK TO THE MILLIONS of Filipinos who trust him and see hope in him.

LISTEN--not just to the two self-confessed criminals and to those overly ambitious and greedy politicians from the opposition who simply want to get back to power.

LISTEN to the millions of Filipinos who have witnessed and have gone tired of all the injustice, incompetence, extreme inequality, and increased crimes due to poverty and narco-politics most prevalent during the previous administration.

FIND OUT why millions of Filipinos worldwide are out to defend this leader which has been the subject of your unjust and ill-informed news and opinions.

Ask us (the 91%) what we see in him. Listen to what we have actually experienced in the past nine (9) months since he took over as President.

SEE the smile on our faces. FEEL the hope in our hearts.

That, at last, we’ve found a genuine leader who truly cares for the people—a leader unbound, unafraid, and uncompromised.

That, at last, we have a leader who’s truly determined to protect the good and the law abiding citizens—a leader who’s bold enough to fight the organized crime syndicates and crush narcopolitics.

It’s disheartening and enraging for many of us Filipinos how several foreign news agencies have unfairly released damaging reports against our President—reports which were mostly based from what was fed to you by some of the most biased local reporters and some rabid opposition senators who are moving heaven and earth to overthrow our duly elected President.

Talk to us, please. I and several others can offer you my/our service for free should you need to gather reliable information or contact reliable agencies who can provide you with facts and stats.

DO NOT KILL OUR HOPES.

Do not kill our chance to rebuild our nation and provide a safer and brighter future for the next generation.

PLEASE, REPORT FAIRLY & TRUTHFULLY."
