Mariel de leon strikes back at Sara Duterte
On Wednesday, November 15, Presidential daughter and Davao City Mayor Inday Sara Duterte-Carpio posted on her Facebook and admit having a "schadenfreude moment" after Philippines bet Mariel De Leon ended her journey early in the Miss International 2017 beauty pageant.
"Meron ako personal experience sa kanya, but I’m too tired to make kwento. I believe pageant judges see through the physical beauty and examine the heart. Para bang Ms. Venezuela sa Ms. Universe 2016. Parang ganyan. This is a schadenfreude moment for me. Sa binisaya pa, ang gabà di gyud magsabà," Inday Sara wrote on the post.
"Schadenfreude" is a German word meaning enjoyment derived from another person's failure.
Meanwhile, Mariel de leon answered back to Sara on her twitter account saying how insecure and unhappy the Mayor is with her life.

De leon was a staunch critic of President Rodrigo Duterte and was very vocal against the alleged extrajudicial killings in the Philippines.
De leon failed to make it to the Top 15 of the pageant held in Japan.

I will be so insecure if you win because you have nothing good to say about our country Philippines. You cannot possibly represent our country because your heart is so negative about the elected president and Miss Mocha who did more good deeds than you can imagine. Mocha speak our mind through her commitment to exposed corrupted individual corrupted politicians and biased media. You comment created so much anger about being disrespectful of President and Mocha. These are people's choice to be elected. Someone who is capable of solving the illegal drugs infestation and corruption in the Philippines by previous administration. Sadly, you have never feel the need criticized the Aquino government who are destroying our country from bottoms ups!
