Alejano Pinahamak ang mga kakampi dahil sa warship deal?

Quezon City Representative Gary C. Alejano recently insisted that a speedy investigation towards Special Assistant to the President Christopher ‘Bong’ Go over the Warship Deal he had with the Philippine Navy.

It is alleged that there are reports saying that there are documents and proof that Bong Go did play a part in the deal.

Alejano showed documents dating to January 12, 2017 stating how Secretary of National Defense Delfin Lorenzana  say what was written on the document meant for former Navy Chief Vice Admiral Ronald Joseph Mercado. In the writing, Lorenzana stated that the documents were for Go.

Go has denied his role in the deal and Lorenzana has always been to adamant to the needs of INHS.

Go has recently released an apology however Alejano still insists on an investigation.

"My name has been unfairly dragged in this issue. I am not privy to the frigate transaction of the DND. I have never seen the controversial document that is alleged to have come from me, much less, handed the same to SND Lorenzana. In fact, I will resign if it can be proven that I intervened. It should be emphasized that the frigate project was already a done deal in 2016 during the time of former Pres. Aquino," Go said.

Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque has also agreed to the investigation. In addition, he also thanked Alejano for bringing the issue up.

Congressman Alejano, salamat po. Dahil sa iyong sinabi iimbestigahan na po natin yung inyong mga kakampi noong nakalipas na administrasyon,” the Palace spokesperson told reporters.

Roque also added that some other officials under the Aquino administration will also be dragged into the case since it was during Aquino’s term that the bidding already happened.

"Because of what Congressman Alejano is saying, maybe it is time to investigate Congressman Alejano’s allies to know what they did with regard to this frigate deal,” Roque said in a press briefing.

Kung totoo na blacklisted iyong binigyan nila ng kontrata, dapat managot iyong mga opisyales ng mga nakalipas na administrasyon at sabihin sa atin bakit naging ganoon ang kanilang naging desisyon,” he added.
